Heroine is de nieuwe collectie van Danny Pato, zesvoudig achtereenvolgend Nieuw-Zeelandse kapper van het jaar. Het creatieve concept achter de kleurrijke shoot kwam van iconische heldinnen uit de hele popcultuur - manga, videogames, stripboeken en superheldenfilms. "Heroine is een viering van de koningin, de godin en de krijger", aldus Danny Pato. Het haar werd geïnspireerd door uitbarstingen van kleurpoeders en door het inkt-in-water-kunstwerk van Alberto Seveso.
